In our class, Cure, we learned about the discoveries made with cells. We have dived into a book called The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. We learned about how the HeLa cells have changed how medicine is practiced today. Down below is a slideshow of a surgery I studied, which was about the removal of a herniated disk.
